  • 1.Is Solar Worth The Money
    SOLAR IS WORTH IT.
    If your solar system is positioned & pitched correctly you could pay off your system in 3 – 5 years. Typically a 5kw system saves you $2000 per year, 10kws $4000 per year. So over a 20 year lifecycle of a 10kw system with quality panels is $80,000. Less installation costs. Your still looking at close to $70,000. So yes it’s very worth making the switch to solar today.
  • 2.Should I Connect A Battery
    Without having a battery connected to your solar system the excess power you generate goes back in the grid to an energy provider. Having a 10 Kw battery connected will save you more money and you will off grid. A 10 kw battery ranges in price from $8,000 to $14,000.You have no reliance on an energy provider. This feeling of independence is very rewarding and offers self – sufficiency. You may also have property that has no power lines connected and this option is excellent for that purpose.
  • 3.What Is The Solar Rebate
    The solar rebate NSW program was created by environment Australia and the NSW gov. The program is fantastic incentive to assist households switch to clean energy from the sun. Its the perfect way to reduce you bill and help the environment. The rebate comes off the cost of your installation.
  • 4.Once I Pay My Deposit How Long Before My Solar Is Switched On
    The whole process from site assessment to energy provider approval and installation is about 7 days pending deposit. Panel installation is typically 1-2 days depending on system size and access.
  • 5.How Often Do The Panels Need Servicing & Cleaning

    How often should I get my solar panels serviced? To ensure your system is operating efficiently and safely, it’s recommended to have your solar panels serviced at least once every 18 – 24 months. Our service includes cleaning and inspection. Seeing the panels have 25 year warranties it’s worth having them serviced.

  • 6.How Long Will My Panels Last
    The panels we most often use have the following warranties. REC, 25 years, Trina 25+ years and Jinko 25+ years. While some others may have longer warranties the REC are rated higher because of their 92% efficiency rating after 20 years of use.
  • 7.If I have A Pool And Aircon Running What Size System Do I Need
    Starting up an aircon or turning on a pool pump creates an energy serge. Once running that drops back down. So if your running other appliances and switch on one of these high starting powered motors you will need to consider the correct size system. We can inform you of this once we know your energy usage.
  • 8.Can I Charge A EV At Home

    Charging your EV at home is a pretty simple process. All you need is a power outlet and an EV charger. Keep in mind that not all EV charging stations are the same. So make sure the power station you buy meets your requirements and is compatible with your home electricity supply.

  • 9.What Is A Hybrid System

    A hybrid solar system can switch between two operating modes: grid-tied and off-grid. This is achieved by combining two key components: A solar inverter capable of synchronising with the grid. A battery system capable of supplying power off-grid. This is our most installed system hybrid. This system can be switched on from day one and install a battery later if desired.

  • 10.How Strong Are The Panels

    You can look for two solar panel ratings, UL 61730 or IEC 61730, which refers to a solar panels’ durability in hail storms. Solar panels that pass either or both tests can withstand between one-to-three inch hailstorms traveling under 88.3 mph. Solar panels are very strong.
